Workshops
The Foundation has fully equipped workshops and work environments for each department as appropriate, with all of the necessary tools, gear and materials for you to pursue your learning and your trade.
Our setting is a large country estate with numerous properties and lots of land to get genuine experience on. We provide all the kit and everything that you will need to develop your skills on lots of ‘live’ jobs and sites. It is ‘on the job’ style training.
We have purpose-built workshops and facilities for each of our trades. With forges and welding benches for our Welding and Fabrication Department; ramps and practice vehicles for our mechanics department; a fully equipped Carpentry Department; practice areas for our Painting & Decorating department; a ‘brickshed’ for our Building Department; fields, woodlands and gardens for our Estate Maintenance department; propagation and greenhouse facilities for our Garden Centre Department, and a fully spec’d commercial style kitchen for our Catering Department.
